Community Ceilidh & Curry

Celebrating the seasonal turnings of the year

Welcome to our seasonal Ceilidhs, celebrating the equinox and solstice turnings. Kevin Campbell Davidson is our caller, and providing the beautiful music to dance with are The Rattling Bogs, Callum Smith & Theo Passingham. Mahesh will be providing his delectable Indian curries, and Arte and friends will be providing the exciting alcohol free drink selection, and snacks.

This is an intersectional, intergenerational, alcohol free, creative & embodied evening of music, dance, food, conversations and solidarity. Our space is in the practice of being inclusive, open to all bodies of culture, gender, sexual orientation and abilities. We may not always get it right and we welcome conversation on anything that needs to be improved. Children & young people of all ages are welcome.

This is a year long journey of cultivating communities that care that cultivate the ground of support for each other in challenging times. The dance is a place for celebration, joy, grief, to dance away despair and to connect to the beauty of each other and our surroundings.

Just a quick message to say how much we all enjoyed last night. Truly inclusive. We all had a lovely time, and no hangover today. Winner.
We’ll be coming to your other dances for sure!
