Designing & Facilitating experiences that inspire children, young people and those that support them, to love and care for all life by inviting them to discover and deeply appreciate themselves, each other and Planet Earth.
I am Jamie Colston and I love creating experiences, inspiring spaces and hosting conversations in which people can take responsibility for turning great ideas into real life action. For the last 8 years, I have been working in a way whereby mission and service are at the heart of everything I do. I am committed to the twin path of leadership; the development and sustaining of internal leadership, harnessed with positive and powerful outward action in service to the world and all life on it. It sounds easy enough but living this day to day is continuous work and is something that you can follow and share your own experiences of in the story section of this website.
Over the last 15 years I have been an entrepreneur, social entrepreneur, facilitator and a catalyst managing teams of up to 160 and working with organisations, not for profits, co-operatives and charities. I have co-created inspiring spaces for young people to engage with global issues like climate change, environmental destruction, resource depletion and the need for economic change and then trained, supported and mentored young people to turn their own inspirations into local projects which they lead.
I have in depth training, practise and knowledge of Art of Hosting and Systemic Organisational Constellations. I have completed The Journey, Mindfulness for Social Change, Non Violent Communication workshops, Parenting by Connection & Institute of Fundraising Certified training.
Currently I am working on two programmes which I am co-designing and developing with friends and colleagues around the emotional well being of young people and those that support them and creating spaces and places where young people can be themselves and develop themselves outside of the traditional learning environment.
Since the beginning of this year I have shared stories of some of the work I am involved in and the transition from seeking traditional employment to living by gift with the support of the Earth Community Trust, so that I can serve what is common to us all, the eco systems that make up our home.
